David D. Waite was born in 1786 in Massachusetts. He died on 6 Jan 1853 in Lake Co., IL. He arrived in Vermont circa 1811 and then moved on to Waconda, Lake, IL. David married Fanny Lilly on 3 Aug 1806 in Oxford, MA. Fanny died on 1 Apr 1871 in Lake Co., IL. They had: Lewis Waite born in 1809; John Waite born in 1810; Fanny Waite born on 4 Jul 1812; Melissa Waite born in 1814; Jason Waite born in 1819; Mary Waite born in 1820; Amity Waite born on 4 Jun 1831; and Lorraine Irene Waite.
